Been sick in bed for the last 3 days.  Punctuated by little outings with my mom.  Today we went to the mall to get me some warmer clothes for Humboldt.  About 2 hours in I was wiped and we had to come home.  I napped and I feel better now.  Now I’m watching some TV show about serial killers.  Annoying thing about liking shows about serial killers: you already know all the stuff they tell you, but you still watch it anyway.  While the last few days have been spent in bed, I have watched some good movies.  Most importantly is the documentary Flow.  I have some knowledge of the situation of water privatization but this film raised a bunch of new questions and answers for me.  I was so angry while I was watching it that I had to take a little intermission so my blood pressure could come down.  While there is a large amount of doomsday rhetoric, the commentators really interrogate the true problem of maldistribution, overconsumption, and neoliberal globalization.  Here’s the trailer:
